In the message, we heard how God created humanity in his image, and to be in his presence. Then in a tragic turn of history, man and woman sinned against God. Yet, God’s mission to be with his people would not be thwarted by the Enemy. God always moves towards his people with with love, overcomes evil and makes a way to save them! Today, through Jesus we have a way to receive salvation and return to God’s presence. However, our world still is not totally free from sin and its consequences. While we can have forgiveness today, sin still negatively affects our lives and will continue until Christ returns one last time. So, we ought to live for God, avoid sin’s consequences, but receive his grace when we fail.
